RoD’s second release, “Swimming Discs”, is an original composition made for cathartic reasons. Inspired by a poem he wrote (“Si si si”), after being diagnosed with Herniated Lumbar Discs, it resembles an exit to a constant battle with resistance and pain while living suppressed to his illness.
All these captured through spoken words and section variations in the music itself. Counter-melodies, collective artistry and use of layers as a way to reach a climax are present throughout the tune.
